When you request a free inspection, call us, or email us, you may share your name, phone number, email address, property address and details about your roof. We use this information to contact you about your request, schedule and perform the work you ask for, send estimates and invoices, and keep records of our projects.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
When you use our free roof estimator we use the address you enter to locate your home in Google Maps Platform data (Places, Geocoding and the Solar API) and measure the roof from satellite and elevation imagery. A measurement service operated for DAG Roofs processes the address to calculate roof area and pitch. Your contact details and estimate are stored on our website and sent to our project management software (Roofr) through Zapier so we can follow up on your request. These providers process the information only to deliver that service.
Like most websites, we use analytics and performance tools that set cookies or similar technologies: Google Analytics (via MonsterInsights and Google Site Kit), Hotjar (anonymized usage recordings and heatmaps), Jetpack statistics, and our hosting and caching providers. We keep project and customer records for as long as needed to honor warranties, comply with tax and licensing obligations, and resolve disputes — generally up to seven years after a project is complete. Website analytics data is kept according to each provider’s retention settings (Google Analytics: 14 months).
You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@dagroofs.com. We will respond within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete and opt out of sale or sharing; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by that law. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our website uses HTTPS encryption, a web application firewall and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
